About Create Your Balance Reiki Therapy
Create Your Balance is operated by Melissa Beaver, a Certified Medical Reiki Master and Reiki Master Teacher. Melissa offers Reiki Energy Medicine, which helps regulate the parasympathetic nervous system—promoting stress relief, better sleep, improved digestion, lower inflammation, and enhanced healing after illness or surgery. Her approach integrates Reiki with intuitive messages and guidance to support healing "from the inside out".
Who is Melissa Beaver?
I knew from a young age that I wanted to work with people in some way. I studied Elementary Education and Psychology in school and stepped into the role of teacher after graduation.
I then became ill with a “mysterious illness” which was later labeled Fibromyalgia.
While I was navigating the pain and many other debilitating symptoms, Reiki found me in 2009. Reiki was the puzzle piece I needed to launch my healing. I was so overwhelmed by the amazing, beautiful healing that was happening to me, that I knew I had to study Reiki to help others heal.
In 2010, I began my studies and in 2011, I became a Reiki Master Teacher (RMT). In 2021, I became a Certified Medical Reiki Master (CMRM).
Why Me?
I am a true believer that people cross paths for a reason. Our personal connection is very important to our work together, as I see each session as sacred. During the Reiki sessions, I receive messages from your body that bring awareness to your barriers that could be holding you back and getting in the way of your healing. These channeled messages bring intuition for action items for you to continue your healing after the session is done.
